Ideas and Tips for Planning a Wedding

Wedding is one of the oldest traditions humanity upholds since time immemorial. It consists of a ceremony in which two people are united in marriage.

This is a most momentous occasion – as you’re marrying the love of your life. You have all the people closest to your heart in attendance, enjoying the celebration of your union, thus it is only fitting that you would want everything to be perfect and unforgettable.

Decide on your wedding theme – there are so many choices for a wedding theme , sometimes the task can be over whelming. Try to decide on the theme of your event at the earliest possible time because many aspects of the preparation depend on it.

Formal Wedding is the most common type of wedding. It is generally the most conventional of all the wedding types. It requires that the couple and their attendants dress as if they were attending a black-tie affair (picnic tables and plastic cups are a NO! NO!)

Casual Wedding is typically much more loose, relaxed and flexible. The focal point is on the celebration of the union between two people in love, together with their families and friends.

Holiday Wedding is a good time to combine the merriment of the season with the wedding celebration. It usually takes place during major holidays like Christmas, Valentine’s Day or Thanksgiving.

Choose your Wedding Colors – the importance of selecting right colors for your wedding day should not be taken lightly. Colors are representative of both seasons and emotions. The combination of your selected colors will generate certain mood or feel to your wedding day.

Better Opt for Flowers in Season – wedding flower choices consist of decisions regarding the flowers for the ceremony, the bouquet, for used as table centerpieces and wedding reception decorations. Aside from the fact that choosing flowers in season gives you a theme for your special day, it also gives assurance that your chosen blooms will be at their freshest come wedding day.
